Equal Pay Day: "About Damn Time" - Unisex T (Deep Heather)

Sorry your item is on backorder until 2119, the projected year of gender pay equality.

Until then, donate to the National Organization for Women to help close the gap sooner.

The Big Number: 80 Percent

Did you know that in 2016, women working full time in the United States typically were paid just 80 percent of what men were paid, a gap of 20 percent? Based on the rate of change from 2001-2016, women will not reach pay equity with men until 2119. That's 101 years into the future.

The Pay Gap Varies for Different Racial Groups

Most women of color are paid substantially less than white women, who in turn are paid less than white men. On average, a white woman makes 77 cents to every dollar a white man makes. An African American woman makes 64 cents and a Hispanic woman just 56 cents.
